4. Artist Profiles and Verification

4.1 Artist Profile Creation

When creating an artist profile, you represent and warrant that you are the artist or have authorization to create a profile on behalf of the artist. You agree not to impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

4.2 Instagram Verification

Our Service offers Instagram account verification to confirm artist identity. By using this feature:

• You authorize us to access your Instagram account information through Meta's API
• You confirm that you own or have authority over the Instagram account being verified
• You agree to Meta's Terms of Service and Platform Terms
• You understand that we only access basic profile information (username, user ID) for verification purposes

4.3 Social Media Links

You may link social media profiles (Spotify, YouTube, TikTok, SoundCloud) to your artist profile. You represent that you own or have authorization to link these accounts and that the linked profiles comply with the respective platform's terms of service.

5. User Content

5.1 Content You Submit

The Service allows you to submit content, including audio files, artwork, and other materials ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by submitting it to the Service, you grant us certain rights as described below.

5.2 License Grant

By submitting User Content, you grant Rocketship Music a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

• Store and process your User Content to provide the Service
• Analyze your audio files using our AI analysis engine
• Display your artist profile and associated information
• Create derivative works for analysis purposes (e.g., extracting audio features, generating reports)

This license terminates when you delete your User Content or account, except for content that has been shared with others or is required for legal compliance.

5.3 Content Representations

By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to the User Content
• Your User Content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property or other rights
• Your User Content complies with all applicable laws and regulations
• Your User Content does not contain malicious code or harmful content

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim an affiliation
• Submit content that infringes intellectual property rights
• Submit content that is defamatory, obscene, or harmful
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated means to access the Service without our permission
• Circumvent any security measures or access restrictions
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

7. Payments and Subscriptions

7.1 Fees

Certain features of the Service may require payment. All fees are stated in US dollars unless otherwise specified. You agree to pay all applicable fees and charges.

7.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your full credit card information.

7.4 Beta Codes

We may offer beta codes or promotional credits from time to time. These are subject to their own terms and may expire or be revoked at our discretion.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by Rocketship Music and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.

8.3 Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us the right to use such feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

The Service integrates with third-party services including:

• Auth0: For authentication services
• Meta (Instagram): For Instagram account verification
• AWS: For cloud storage
• Stripe: For payment processing
• AI Music Analysis Engine: For song analysis

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.
